BAX Global has implemented a security surcharge fee determined by using a weighted average of the fees
assessed by the commercial airlines. This fee helps to recover costs associated with increased security
and insurance costs. The surcharge is applied on the chargeable weight of each shipment and is shown as a
separate line item on the invoice, except in a few instances (i.e., Brazil) where individual government
regulations prohibit surcharges. In these instances, the surcharge will be included in the rates.
