Customer Note: BAX Global typically adjusts the Jet and Diesel Fuel Surcharges on the 10th of each month. For the April Fuel Surcharge, BAX did not apply its standard formula to ascertain the month's rate. We expected the spike in fuel costs seen at the beginning of the month to be temporary and applied the same FSC rates that we used for March. Fuel prices have continued to rise, BAX will be increasing the FSC on a revised effective date of May 5th. Diesel Fuel has also continued increased to new levels. BAX will be moving to an industry standard for LTL Fuel adjustments. Effective May 5, 2008 BAX will review the Diesel fuel surcharge on a weekly basis with changes being made on the Monday of each week.
BAX Global reserves the right to return to the standard fuel surcharge matrix in future months.

37.30% (based on $4.832/gallon of diesel fuel)
NOTE: This fuel surcharge applies to the rated weight of all BAXSaver and Economy shipments. (Note: BAXSaver shipments to Hawaii are charged the Standard Overnight fuel surcharge.)

Fuel Cost Scale Chart
A $1 minimum applies to all shipments. The U.S. Domestic Diesel Fuel Surcharge is based on the EIA/DOE regional average daily cost of Diesel fuel from the prior week. This fuel surcharge will then become effective based on the dates shown above.
